Lima Zibanu’s photography investigates the moment when the everyday ceases to be perceived solely by its immediate appearance, revealing instead the underlying relations that traverse it.

His photographic practice explores the connections between form, use, body, and environment. Throughout his series, objects, surfaces, natural elements, and urban situations become the raw material to investigate how displacements of proximity, association, and context can transform perception and expand the possibilities of reading the visible.

Influenced by literature, philosophy, cinema, and the visual arts, Zibanu develops long-term, independent projects in which photography serves as a space of encounter between vision, imagination, and experience.
